In preparation for the launch of their newest Katabatic shoe model, Oboz wanted a mix of product-forward and lifestyle images that felt rugged, authentic and fun. They also wanted the majority of this project to be shot above treeline. Creative producer Kenny Gamblin and I collaborated on researching locations that fit the bill.

Ultimately, we landed on heading to the Tetons for an overnight backpacking trip. Our small team of 6 included Beartooth Mountain Guides Anju Samuelson and Akio Joy in front of the camera.
